Our mobile clinic is fully equipped with general anesthesia to accommodate our surgical patients. We offer routine surgery such as spay/neuter, complete soft tissue surgery including tumor removal/biopsy and dentistry. For most surgeries we utilize inhalant gas anesthesia (isoflurane) with heart rate/oxygenation monitor and capnograph (carbon dioxide monitor) to ensure proper ventilation.
We perform dentistry on a routine basis, as we educate our clients about the importance of dental health for the long-term well-being of their cats and dogs. In many cases, routine prophylaxis (scaling and polishing) is all that is needed to improve the health of the teeth and gums and prevent development of more serious periodontal disease. For those patients that have already developed more advanced disease, we offer additional dental services including dental x-ray, extractions and restorative techniques.
